CyanogenMod 12 - Exodus for Cherry Mobile Flare Lite

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, after market firmware distribution of Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

CyanogenMod 12 FAQ Thread

How did I port the ROM?
I used the porting method of Orata Team Android.
1. Unpack, port kernel, and edit "# mali node" on ueventd.mt6572 then repack boot.img
2. Copy and paste from Stock to Port:
  a. system/etc/firmare (folder)
  b. system/lib/libaudio.primary.default.so
  c. system/lib/libMali.so
  d. system/egl (folder)
  e. system/hw/gralloc.mt6572.so
  f. system/hw/hwcomposer.mt6572.so

3. Edit META-INF, and archive it.

As of now, I'm doing another porting method. Hope this time, it will fix issues.

Rooted?
Yes! It has SuperSU on the package. Also, check the CyanogenMod 12 Developers Thread

Requirements?
A rooted phone having Philz Touch Recovery. Use the latest version. And make sure to backup before flashing.

Can I use other Recovery?
I prefer to use only Philz Touch Recovery. Other recovery like TWRP and CTR may cause errors.

Error regarding boot logo when flashing the ROM?
It's ok. No need to worry about it.

What should I do first before flashing the ROM?
First, make sure you backup your ROM and make a NVRAM backup using Mobile Uncle Tool. This backups may help you after you've flash CyanogenMod ROM.

After that, what should I do after flashing the ROM?
Configure your Settings by your own customization. Tap 5 times Build number at About Phone to unlock Developers Option. Go to Developers Option and on Advance Reboot. Set up XInternalSD to set SD as Default. Then make a Soft Reboot by means of holding on Power Button. Tap Reboot then Soft Reboot to fix some issues.

Can't detect SIM Cards/Unknown IMEI?
Install Mobile Uncle Tools. Then tap Backup and Restore IMEI. Use the one you backup before flashing CyanogenMod ROM. Also, check the CyanogenMod 12 Developers Thread

Camera not working?
Fix coming soon (TBA)

Front speaker work but back speaker not?
Fix coming soon (TBA)

No Google Apps?
CyanogenMod ROMs doesn’t provide Google Apps.

Can't browse?
Check your Access Point at Settings.
